Program Details

Thank you for your interest in the 650 or 1500 credit hour Refresher Course at The Charm Academy! Course hour requirements  vary on the transcript status of the student. This program is designed for upcoming or  licensed cosmetologists looking to sharpen their skills and stay updated with the latest techniques and standards set by the Alabama State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering. The curriculum revisits key areas for success in a salon environment. You’ll refine your expertise in services such as styling, cutting, coloring, chemical treatments, braiding, waxing, nail services, and more. Program Fees

The tuition fee for the program is $12,400 for students who have been out of cosmetology for more than 12 months. For students who have been out of cosmetology for less than 12 months, the cost of tuition is $6200. This price includes the course, materials, and books required for course success.​ The application fee of $100 does not go towards this balance. Courses can be paid by cash, cards, cashier checks, money orders, outside scholarships, or a payment plan that requires 10% down. For any questions, please use the contact form below.
